Formerly "MiniFuse", this comprehensive class is the perfect introduction to a wide range of kilnforming techniques. We've jam packed the most important information into this one day workshop. Students will be guided through a comprehensive look at kilnforming techniques using a range of glass forms, accessories, and temperatures, and will leave with the knowledge necessary to work independently in Open Studio.
We will cover the basics of safety, cutting, kiln schedules, and glass compatibility, culminating in the creation of two large plates and loads of samples. This is the perfect workshop for any beginning fuser. Students will leave the class with a solid foundation of knowledge in fused and slumped glass with which to build on for years to come. No experience necessary.
Tuition, $150
