This class will introduce the basics of fusing and slumping while exploring the various forms of glass. Students will learn to design with glass using stringer, frit, confetti, and rod which will culminate in the creation of their own set of fused tiles, stacks project, slumped bowl and plate. We will cover the basics of safety, cutting, kiln schedules, and glass compatibility. Students will leave the class with a solid foundation of knowledge in fused and slumped glass with which to build on for years to come. This is our most basic introductory class, NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.
