Torch: Independent Studio Time

No Open Studios Torch this Saturday, April 14 - Beads of Courage, Bead-A-Thon! Join us to create beads to donate from 10am-4pm.

Calling all Flame Workers! Are you experienced on the torch and want to work on your own projects? Then join us for Studio Time on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

PLEASE PRE-REGISTER—Limited space available.

Guidelines:

-Torch: Studio Time is for students who have previously attended a bead making class at Brazee Street School of Glass. There will be an instructor on-site available for questions and safety, but no class instruction.

-Students will work independently, may use our safety glasses and basic tools, and may purchase glass rod from our retail shop.

-We are a Bullseye Glass studio, so we ask that you please use only Bullseye Glass while working on the torch.

-Become a Frequent Flamer! If you purchase 10 hours on the torch, you get the 11th hour FREE! Ask the front desk for details.

-Please wear cotton clothing (no synthetics!), no nail polish, and hair pulled back.

-If you have significant experience flameworking and want to participate in Studio Time, send us your portfolio (5+ images of flameworking examples) and you may bypass our class requirement. You may submit images by email to info@brazeestreetstudios.com, or send a link to your website to that address.

-Studio Time $10/hr

-Bead Annealing Kiln Rental Only: $10.00 (if you want us to anneal beads you made at home)
