Cathy Cebulski Sacco was born and raised in the New York metropolitan area, and moved to Cincinnati in 1990. As a fine artist she works in oils and pastels to achieve luminosity in her work, and explores the metaphorical relationship between life and nature with writing. Her landscape and still life paintings vary in explosions of color, as well as in more subtle color and charcoal renderings. Her work can be found in many private collections. She has exhibited regionally, and has participated in collections at The Christ Hospital, The Cinergy Foundation, The YWCA, The Alliance For Integrative Medicine, Women Writing For a Change and Brazee Studios. She has studied art at Villa Nova University, The Cincinnati Art Academy, and with several private teachers. She holds a masters degree in Education from Xavier University, and a bachelor of arts in Communication and English, working both in journalism, and as a n Elementary Montessori teacher. Part of her work is in teaching teachers how to integrate the arts of all forms into the classroom so that children will grow up using the arts as a language for expression in daily life and learning, and to tap their inner voice using the contemplative tool of the arts. Inspired to be part of the creative, conscious community of artists at Brazee, she lives in Cincinnati with her husband and two daughters. Private viewings can be arranged by contacting the artist at firstname.lastname@example.org.
