Cathy Cebulski Sacco creates work that evokes mystery, luminous beauty, and reflection. She writes about and explores the metaphor of between nature and life. Working primarily in mediums such as oil, pastel, charcoal and photography, her landscape and still life work vary in explosions of color, as well as in more subtle color and charcoal renderings.
Cathy holds a Masters degree in Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Interpersonal Communications and English. She teaches in the School of Education at Xavier University, and is also an experienced and certified Mindfulness instructor, an arts educator, and an elementary Montessori certified teacher. As a educational consultant, she is Involved in many mindfulness initiatives locally and nationally, such as research, offering heart-filled and research-grounded professional development mindfulness programs for educators and children to help promote education for life and learning, wellbeing and creativity for youth K-12, College and adults.
Her artwork can be found in many private collections, and at Mica in downtown Cincinnati. She has exhibited in collections and juried group shows such as The Christ Hospital, The Cinergy Foundation, The YWCA,the Beringer Crawford Museum, Secret Artworks Top 100, Red Tree Gallery, and ADC Gallery, and Gallery One-One to name a few. Cathy has studied with M.K. Hurley, Greg Storer, Cole Carothers, Michael Scott, as well as at Villa Nova University, The Cincinnati Art Academy, the Provincetown Art and Writing Workshop, and Arrowmont School of Arts and Craft. Her studio is at Brazee Street Studios in Cincinnati.
